DehaloCon III conference goes virtual.  Let’s meet online!

The international conference DehaloCon III has been postponed to September 27 – 30, 2021 and will be held as a fully virtual event.

The conference will provide a great opportunityfor virtual session attendees to hear and discuss new advances in the field of anaerobic biological dehalogenation, stimulate your future research, and network with other specialists and researchers.

We are preparing a challenging program covering a wide range of biological aspects related to microorganisms performing reductive dehalogenation including biochemistry, ecophysiology and ecology, omics and meta-omics. The conference will also address most recent technological innovations for the bioremediation of contaminated sites and current field scale applications.

Top-notch plenary speakers will present emerging topics, new challenges, future trends and directions. We are aiming for a conference with a broad range of academic and professional backgrounds and a wide participation of young and senior scientists and professionals from across the world.

We look forward to seeing you all !

Dear colleagues,

due to the still unpredictable evolution of the pandemic we had to make the decision to hold DehaloCon III, the 3rd International Conference on Anaerobic Biological Dehalogenation, as a fully virtual event.

We will keep the original dates, i.e. 27-30 September 2021 and, by taking advantage of the currently available virtual communication platforms, we will do our best to allow the highest possible level of interaction among attendees.

We quickly adapted to the current events and we moved DehaloCon III on virtual interacting platform that allows to watch live the Presentations and interact with our expert speakers. During the conference a virtual e-Poster area will be available.

Abstract can be submitted from now on until 30 April 2021 via the conference website.

We look forward to seeing you all at the DehaloCon III Virtual Conference!

Conference guidelines:
DehaloCon III is scheduled as a virtual conference with a daily plenary session dedicated to the oral presentations and an electronic-poster (or e-poster) area.

Oral presentation guidelines:
Oral presentations are limited to a maximal duration of 20 minutes (15 minutes talk + 5 minutes questions and answers). During the conference attendees will be able to join online presentations at scheduled times and to pose questions after each presentation.

E-poster presentation guidelines:
During the virtual conference an  e-poster area will be available.
